Aspen Cabin

The room

Four Aspen Cabins sit in the upper grove, built in 2019 in the same timber frame as the original lodge. Two bedrooms at either end, a living room between them and a kitchen you can genuinely cook a week's dinners in.

The plan is simple and it works: bedrooms on opposite corners, each with its own bathroom, so two couples or a family with teenagers never share a wall. The living room has a stone hearth, a long sofa and a dining table for six under a window wall facing the meadow.

The kitchen has a full range, a dishwasher, a large fridge and enough pans to feed six. Most guests still eat at Timberline Table more often than they plan to, but the option matters on a snowy Tuesday.

The mud room is the detail returning guests mention: a bench, a floor drain, racks for eight pairs of boots and a dryer for gloves and base layers. After a day at the Village, nothing wet needs to come further into the cabin.
