The room
There are four Teton Suites, one on each corner of the west wing, and every one of them is booked first. Two walls of glass, a wood-framed balcony and the Cathedral Group sitting there like a painting you did not have to pay for.
The suite is arranged so the view does the work. The king bed faces west. The freestanding tub sits by a window. The daybed in the alcove is where somebody always ends up with a coffee at six in the morning, because alpenglow on the Grand starts before the sun clears the Gros Ventre behind you.
Beyond the view, this is the most complete room in the lodge: a proper entry with a closet, a gas fireplace with a stone surround, a bar with a wine fridge, and a bathroom with a double vanity, a walk-in shower and heated floors throughout.
The balcony is 14 feet wide and heated underfoot, so it is usable in January. Two Adirondack chairs, a small table, and a wool blanket in a box by the door.
